Let me start by saying that I love my hometown of Bend, Oregon. I’ve lived in Bend for nearly 15 years and have loved every minute of it. Because of my passion for my hometown of Bend, I would like to proudly announce that One of my landscape photographs graces the cover of Visit Bend’s newest tourism guide for Bend, Oregon.
My photograph of Bend’s own Tumalo Falls is the most recent cover for my favorite Oregon tourism organization. I have hiked, biked and photographed around Tumalo Falls countless times in all seasons. For some information about the day I captured this image of Tumalo Falls, please visit this previous blog entry, Tumalo Falls. Visit Bend is staffed with talented and personable individuals who are a pleasure to work with. The above image of Tumalo Falls is actually the third time one of my images have been featured on the cover of the Visit Bend Guide. The following image of Sparks Lake is one I am extremely proud of. for more information about my mission to capture this beautiful landscape Photograph, please visit here. Sparks Lake, Oregon.
The first Bend Oregon area photo that was featured on the cover of the Visit Bend guide is still one of my favorite Bend, Oregon area photographs. That photo is seen below and is of Oregon’s stunning Mt. Jefferson with a breath-taking field of wildflowers in the foreground. To this day, I’ve never seen a better arrangement of wildflowers and the fact it was on the Visit Bend guide makes it even more special for me.
Mt. Jefferson is one of the crown jewels of the Central Oregon Cascades and offers some of the best day hiking in the Bend, Oregon area. To view a larger version of this fine art print of Mt. Jefferson, please visit the mountain gallery on my website here, Mt. Jefferson Wilderness.
I’d like to extend a special thanks to Doug, Lynnette, Kevney, Valerie and the the rest of the staff of Visit Bend for featuring my work and for the ongoing relationship that we share. As a proud resident of Bend, Oregon, I couldn’t be happier with my relationship with Visit Bend.
