I’ve always been enchanted by aspen groves. They are a sensory delight. Their deep earthy aromas, the soothing flutter of their leaves in even the slightest breeze, and their elegant, hopeful trunks all energize me. My hometown of Bend, Oregon is blessed with many attractive Aspen groves in the nearby Deschutes National Forest. Because of my admiration and appreciation of these wonderful aspen colonies, I’ve passively searched for years for an arrangement of Aspen trees that truly honors how beautiful an aspen grove can be. Below is the reward for my perpetual searches. This is my newest Fine Art Print, “Autumn Delight” which captures an Oregon Aspen Grove in its autumn glory.
This beautiful grove of aspen trees is located near Bend, Oregon in plain sight. I am truly thrilled to unveil this new print at Bend’s next First Friday art walk, February 1st, 2013 at Patagonia of Bend in downtown Bend, Oregon. I love this print’s combination of strong vertical elements and an infusion of vibrant fall color. If you can’t make it to my first Friday exhibit, please, contact me for a showing of this image or any of the other images in my collection of fine art nature photography. Thanks,
Mike Putnam
